Jewelland: Jewelpet Sunshine

Jewelpet Sunshine (ジュエルペットサンシャイン Juerupetto Sanshain) é a terceira temporada de “Jewelpet”, criada pela Sanrio e Sega e animada pelo Studio Comet e dirigida por Takayuki Inagaki. A temporada começou a ser lançada no dia 9 de Abril de 2011 e acabou o lançamento em 31 de Março de 2012 e foi exibida na TV Tokyo. Ao contrário das duas primeiras temporadas, Jewelpet Sunshine tem duas partes cada episódio. É considerado um anime de comédia, com humor parecido a Gin Tama e Pani Poni.

A temporada é conhecida pelas referências de filmes, programas de tv e cultura pop. A temporada foca nas principais heroínas Mizushirou Kanon e Ruby. Ambas estudam na academia Sunshine, uma escola onde ambos os humanos e jewelpets estudam magia, fazendo parte da classe 3, conhecida como “Grupo de situação de risco”. Na classe 3, todos sonham em graduar-se na academia e seguir os seus sonhos sem importar o mau comportamento da classe. A Ruby tem de suportar a sua irritantes companheira de quarto, Kanon, a historia também se foca no triângulo amoroso entre Ruby, Kanon e Mikage.
